Google indexing Silly Newbie Question

I just submitted my site to Google 24 hrs ago. I checked my Google webmaster. Only 4 out of 7 pages were indexed. How do I know which pages were indexed? Why is it only 4 pages were indexed? I know this is a silly question, but I am a newbie. Can someone please shed some light on this? Google is confusing me!

  • Really? Something as simple and straight forward as Google? JK!

    Do a site search to see which pages are indexed. Search "site:yoursite.com" this should bring up all the indexed pages.

    • I just did a site:mysite.com. It brought up all 7 of my pages. Webmaster tool keep saying only 4 out of 7 pages are indexed. This is so weird.

    • ping your pages, and get them indexed

  • try search on google => "site:yourdomain.com" without "
    and you will know which page are indexed
