Getting more Google +1's

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know of a strategy to get more +1's votes on Google for a local listing?

  • I guess you could buy a bunch of fake ones for a fixed price, but I would think twice before doing that if I were you.

    Google+ is Google's own property, and Google would probably know if your +1's were fake.

    Now, if we are talking about getting them the natural way, than you could do something to encourage your clients (or your client's clients) to go ahead and follow you, or leave a review on G+.

    For example, if it's a restaurant, you could offer a discount for those who leave a review. Just a small thanks for spreading the word.

    Some businesses run contests (all sorts of) and use either their website, or their Facebook page, etc. as a virtual platform. For example, you could use your G+page for that.

      Social Media Optimization is it for share useful information to online users, so don't use it for marketing.. Just share good useful and attractive information to online users, they plus your news automatically..

      Don't use to post your website information only, try to post general world news..
  • Google have cracked down on fake +1s - its not really worth the risk in buying as they may ban you.
  • Assuming you're not talking about spamming google, try these techniques.

    1. Place your google plus icon at the top right of the page of your article, were it's more likely to be noticed.Make sure there's a little space there, so that it's separated from the bulk of your content and sticks out.

    2. Remind people at the end of each article to click one of the icons. Say something like " don't forget to like us".

    Sometimes people are more than willing to recommend you, they just need a little push.

    • Thats a good idea, TheSalesTechnician. I havent really thought about trying to promote myself like that. I think a lot of people just place the button there and hope people will click it
  • Don't buy fake google plus ones! Add a logo or small banner within the content or site itself that says Add Us To Your Favorites or something along those lines

    • Buying many Google +1's is definitely more dangerous than buying Facebook likes, Pinterest pins, Twitter followers, etc because Google owns the product.

  • Dont get a whole bunch of +1 in a very short time. it is better to spread them out so as to look more natural

    do generate the organic traffic via seo..
    do forum posting,directory submision,blog commenting,socail bookmark sharing site..
    submit ur website url to top directory with pr above 5...and do blog commenting on sites similar to ur site niche..
    do forum posting as much as u can..
    make your content fresh and unique...above all a blooger need patience and consistence in his work..

  • There are sites that trade +1's by other real people. You have to click 'X' number of +1s to earn points for other real people to click your page. Not sure the name of these sites since I don't use them....
  • Google will identify fake + and most certainly penalize you so i would write good content thal people want and add your google+ author to it which will help
  • I would do your best to get REAL +1's, not fake ones. And be careful because Google will suspend your account if they find any reason to believe that you're manipulating the system.
  • Publish remarkable content.
