Exact Seaches PM 6600 | PPC $3.60 | I'm Ranked #9

Ok, so i picked up an exact match domain name last November (2011) and just put it in the cupboard for safekeeping. Anyway, a month ago i add an article with just under 650 words (it still only has one article).

Last night i did a search for my main keyword and to my suprise i am ranked #9 on the big G.

According to Alexa.com, i have 3 sites linking in.
According to Woorank.com, i have 50 backlinks in the big G.

If anyone has an idea about how I can determine what kind of traffic the top sites are getting please let me (us) know.

Im no SEO expert but if I can move this one to the top, I will build a product and generate some nice online income.

    The only real way to know is be there, Alexa and most sites have no clue because the source of their data is limited. Odds are position #1 gets about 36% (As Mike said, I agree with him) of the clicks, so figure it off the data you got when you did your initial research. If these kind of questions where critical or important to you then probably should of handled them in the research phase and not the action phase.

    If you really want to find out your answer, get back to building back links and content.

    what sort of traffic are you seeing at #9?

    Are you sure that's your real rank? Did u check it through a proxy or did u just search google in your browser? If the latter than u may be seeing a personalized result that doesn't actually reflect your real ranking.

    If you haven't already put stat-counter on and see how much traffic u are currently getting from that keyword - even at #9 6600 exact match P/M should generate at least a few hits per day (probably more). That'll give u a better idea of what to expect

      Im getting traffic. a trickle only.

      Ive got google analytics installed so ive checked the stats and see some traffic coming in from abroad.
