This guy is re-posting my entire site. post by post and actually ranking above me for many keywords!

I am so furious right now. Last night while checking some of my long tail keyword ranking in the serps, I found a site that is ranking above me for lost of those keywords.

However, that site is an exact clone of my site, meaning it is using every single post of mine, the exact same way. Even the freaking pages (about me, write for us,...) are the exact same. The only difference is that he or she has changed the names.


Now, I thought maybe the links that I have in my posts (I interlink my posts a lot) are at least there. But no, since he is re posting every single of my posts, which means his site is basically a complete duplicate of my site, he has changed the links, so they point to the same post (as it was in my own site), but obviously that post is on his site as well since he re-posted every single post of mine.


Even the name of the site is almost a punch in your face kind of thing. My site is BlogStash.com and his site is Istash.blogspot.com.

Now, usually when I see a few post of mine being re-posted , I don't really care as I don't have time to contact each and every one of them. But this one is basically re-posting my whole site and actually ranking above me. That is just making me rally angry.

So, I sent him an email (contacted through his blogs contact page) and politely asked him to remove all of my posts (which means deleting his whole site). I told him other wise I would take legal action or at the least would contact blogger and ask them to delete the blog.


It was last night, so I am still waiting for his/her reply. I just needed to post this here as I needed to get this off of my chest.



I just don't understand what makes people think it is ok to take somebody else' work and publish it as their own. I mean, come on. I mean, I can understand it at least if you rewrite the thing, but posting the exact same thing, I mean even down to the link placement, pages and even the logo!...


I mean, I know why he did it. I rank for lots of keywords in make money online niche and until recently I was ranking #1 for make money online and a few other top keywords.



So this guy decided to basically replicate my success (if you can call it that, lol). But unlike other people who go out and actually write their own stuff and replicate the process and not the actual site and content, he basically copied my whole site so he could rank too.



And the funny, yet sad thing is that he actually is ranking for some keywords above me. Wow Google!


What do you guys do in such situations?... Any advice or tipa would be great.
