Hi There,

I am wondering to know whether I can improve my inner page PR and not only front page?

Also, for most keywords only my first page appears while I would like my inner pages come up as well.

Please let me know your advice.

Thanks

PR is accomplished the exact same way regardless of the page. Point higher PR internal/external links at your internal pages.
  • Pagerank is dependent on the links you build. Try building links (do follow) for internal pages. Also, the interlinking of the site pages is also very important as link juice flows internally too.

  • To improve page rank of your website's inner pages, you need to build quality backlinks for inner pages. Also make your inner pages more relevant for search queries which you want to target.Build do follow, high PR and relevant backlinks for inner pages and they will help you to improve page rank of your inner pages.
  • just post great content and if u have time, make some quality back links.
    thats all

    • If you want the inner pages to rank then follow the suggestions of building the links to inner pages. Although this is not necessary to get the PR on them. If the site is well interlinked and you have enough backlinks for the homepage the inner pages will get the PR as well -often it will be 1 less than homepage for at least several subpages linked from the home page.

Also make sure every of your inner pages is optimized for different keywords. There's no use trying to rank multiple pages of the same site for the same phrases.
  • It's nothing but on and off site SEO.
  • Same as any PR - PAGE rank. So the same goes to your homepage, and even your "about" page.

    Cheers,
  • Every page has it's own PR. An "inner" page can have higher PR than the home page.
  • You'll have to do quality link building with inner pages as well. However, if your root domain has a higher PR, then definitely inner pages will have good PR
  • If one page in particular (probably your homepage) has a lot higher pr, you can look at your pr flow on your site, are there enough links to your other pages to distribute pr etc
  • Go for more theme related links, like blogging, press releases and etc, As well as do blog comments on your niche related decent (Spam free) blogs. Those will help you to improve your inner page PR. These methods worked well for me for a client's website. We got PR2 for one inner page, however, our main page PR still 0.
  • As everyone has pointed out already all about decent links pointing back to your website. Don't worry about PR it will come automatically if you have a good enough website and people actually enjoy it.
