How Much Traffic Do I Need to Make $10 Per Day From Adsense

Hi,

I have a movies site (BestKidsMovies) and want to know how much traffic do I need per day to earn $10 per day from the site via Adsense.

Also which is the best Ad type for a high CTR - image or text? And where should I place them? Been experimenting a lot, but nothing is really working!

Well, I have lots of content there - numerous movie reviews and some articles as well.

Also, is Adsense enough for making $10 per day?

it's totally depends your niche because some ad clicks pays less and some more.
I assume your site is related to entertainment stuff, so you need lot of hits to earn $10 a day since google ads on entertainment sites pay less

Usually both text and image ads on the top of the page perform best. Be careful though to place them there with a bit of taste so the site doesn't appear spammy. Also text ad blocks surrounded by text perform good.

    Depends on your keywords.

Period. If your targeting a keyword that pays $2+ per click, well your traffic won't need to be nearly as much as a keyword that pays just $.20 per click.

      Research.

One can start with the Google Keyword Tool and work forwards from there.

well here's what you do to get to $10 a day...for this particular site.

You can just use the google keyword tool...make sure you're signed in.

Then punch in your keyword. Google will split up keywords into groups based on titles etc.

Pick the low hanging fruit keywords....and write an article on your site about it. Use keyword in title....use it in post ...with H1 tag....and then write a 500 word post about it.

Then rinse repeat for another low-hanging fruit keyword. Do this on 20 of those keywords.

Go to fivver and pay someone to write some article and get some back links to your site. Vary the link to go to not just your home page...but to link to a page within your site.

If your keywords have enough traffic...and they pay out decent...then getting to $10 a day is fairly easy.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already have about 36 movie reviews and about 5 articles there - low competition keywords targeted. Do you think I need to have more articles? I liked your H1 tag idea.

    4891.5 page views per day

Amazes me that people want to display Google Adsense and yet seem to be afraid to google to answer their questions and learn things.

Actually, you are off by 10, but good try. It's 4,901.5 page views.
Thing is, that half a view is what pushes it over the top.

Pity the sites that only get 4,901.

It depends on your keyword's CPC and your page's CTR.

I have a site that makes me in average $10 per day exactly.
    My CPC is around $0.50.
My CTR for this site (after several weeks of testing) is 3-4%.
The number of pageviews per day is around 500-700.

And don't get yourself caught up in only one keyword and its numbers. A good site should bring in traffic from dozens if not hundreds of low searched keywords.

well it only depends on traffic from search engines to make earning from adsense
like if you are getting 10,000 direct or returning visitors the adsense income will be in cents but if you are getting only 4000 visitors from search engines you can make $20 a day
