Google Adsense and Video Blogs

To start with, I don't have an Adsense account. I'll be starting a major local website project early next year and I need an Adsense account by then. When the site picks up, I'll be able to partner with small to mid-size businesses. Until then, I need to monetize the site by using Adsense to cover costs.

I know that Adsense application can take some time (especially for my location) and so I need to start a website that can guarantee my acceptance in the program as soon as possible.

I don't have a lot of time right now to consistently maintain a blog. Now, I'm exploring the option of creating a local video blog for a specific niche. It's not really a blog per se because I won't be producing the content. Instead, I'll embed YT and Vimeo videos. I'll create the description to make it unique. From my research, I have zero competition in this kind of niche.

My question is do you think I'll get accepted in Adsense with this? I'm having doubts considering that there will be minimal content in form of words/articles?

Ad sense is really picky at this time, the only guaranteed way to know is by trying it out your self and do not leave any stone unturn.

Yeah. I think I'll try to start with a videoblog and a traditional blog. I can't risk not being accepted.
