Hi All,

I am very new to this all. So I found a possible product I attempted to market using ad words yesterday. I found the product on Click Bank
I was disapproved.

What did I do wrong?
I linked the ad directly back to the sellers website using the click bank generated link. was this the right way to go?
So, the displayed url was test.com
but the redirect was: gfgfdfdfdddfgfhgh.gfgfgfgfg.com

I am worried now if i put up another ad they will just block my account.
Where shall I go from here?

Thanks
ccx

ok, So i guess this is why they disapproved the ad?

So if I review the product from a blog of mine and link it to there, they would allow this?

I am worried about them blocking my account tbh, how many warnings do they give before banning an account?

Google don't allow affiliate ads. You'd have to link to a page on your own site which then links out to the product in question. Even then you'll have a hard time getting it approved.

Google basically just hates affiliate marketing. You could try Bing or Infosearch instead.

Folks...You need to stop spreading the myth that Google hates affiliates and affiliate marketing. For Pete's sake, they have their own affiliate network.

The problem is most affiliates offer hideous sites to their visitors. In turn, Google disapproves them.

You just keep on believing that and I'll just keep on making money knowing otherwise.

Google has no problems with affiliates and no problem with redirect links.
You just follow their policies and you'll do fine.

The problem with the OP was probably due to the product, not the redirection.

It is very difficult to work with Google as a affiliate due to their presages against that business model. That being said affiliate marketing can work while using adwords but is very difficult you would be better off using traffic sources such as solo ads and/or media buys For paying traffic sources and good SEO for free.
