I think stumble upon is still the best, digg is no longer got me visitors, reddit also ok.
Perhaps you should try to pin your image/video using pinterest, I got around 200-300 visitors from pinterest, I paid someone to regularly pin my images everyday.

Through my split testing experience I no longer implement any sort of bookmarking techniques.

The reason for this is simple when measuring time invested and return in ranking improvements the ROI is nowhere comparable to what I'm able to achieve utilizing content distribution on document sharing sites.

I think stumbleupon is the best bookmarkinng site to use it. You can drive lots of traffic to your site from it based on only quality content.

Social Bookmarking is good way for your site to get crawled easily. Don't assume that you can get backlinks from it but it can drive a good traffic for your site.

If you are after targeted traffic and not links for (weak) SEO value, forum marketing (including LinkedIn Groups) is a much better option than social media sites IMO.

Bookmarking sites such as digg, stumbleupon, diggo etc will lead to more traffic to the site.

I vote for Stumble upon. Digg and reddit help me to appear on search engine faster but they do not bring a huge traffic as Stumble upon. You should try for one month and see the result.

Traffic wise Stumbleupon has always brought me excellent traffic
