Press Release and Article Directories ?

I don't understand what's the difference between those PR and AD sites because i think AD sites accept article which PR is also.. IF both are different how should i write the PR article.. is it any other method than AD.. please help.

    Press Release is about your company,company new launch & you can also use company name in PR sites,

    But articles directory you can't use company name, AD good in building backlink....

    Well articles are a piece of content which is used to discuss about any specific topic not for advertisement directly but press release is newsworthy where you can directly advertise your products or networks.

    Press releases need to be written in a certain news style, some musts:

    - writing in 3rd person
    - avoiding sentences like "We..." "Our..." etc.
    - adding a quote of someone, preferably the company spokes person
    - including City, State
    - about company section
    - summary

      So how others seo professional submit their keywords to PR.. i mean they don't write anything about their products or service..if they are doing blogging ?

      Bloggers release Press Release to introduce their blogs, I guess your blog will still consider as your product in online marketing.

    Press release is like a sale pitch to market your product.

    However, article must contains informative solutions and ideas for a specific subject. Not much sales pitch shall be allowed, otherwise they will reject your submission. AD will give you more backlink click than PR.

    In article directories, you can post articles about a specific topic like "How to learn Guitar", History of CNC Machines, etc, and you can't advertise your website or blog directory. However, you can create a few backlinks by choosing some anchored texts from the article.
    While, in press release you can directory talk about your company, website, introduction, products introduction etc.

    Articles are not an information or message but are more oriented to expressing views, elaborating and describing ideas on a particular topic.

    When you launch any product or services then you can create a press release and submit to news website. While article is about some topic related to your business and article shouldn’t be promoted.

      Anyway I'm not a writer as you can see so it would be nice if you could give the press release some news worthy touch.
