google webmasters tool

hi again
i know a lot of people use the google webmasters tools ie posting code in the website etc,but is it worth keeping the code in your site or do you remove it after a while.

You have to leave it in there if you want to continue to use it...

It isn't like it slows your site down or anything. No reason to remove it.

I haven't seen rank improve by adding it, but it couldn't hurt to leave it. Typically we upload the verification file to the server and then just forget about it.
