Advises needed on adsense Site - where to go from here

I think this will be a long post and the English might not be the best (you will properly understand that I don’t write my articles myself) but any advices from more experienced IM'ers is really appreciated

I started a site a while ago in a niche that I have some knowledge in. At some points in the beginning of this site I decided that my first goal was to have about 100 post on the page (I have a regular job and kids to my time is limited so I needed some kind of goal)

I’m closing in on those 100 posts (at 70 right now) and last week I decided to put up my first advertising. I got accepted to adsense the 2 of September. My earnings have been between $7 and $13 every day since then. Nothing huge but it makes a beginner happy 

My traffic to the site is growing slowly but steady and the last week I have had between 300-400 unique visitors a day. 1 of my 70 pages drags about 75% of my visitors but the last month about 60 of my pages have got visitors from organic searches. The page that gets the vast majority of visitors isn't one of my "big pages" that could get much more visitors than it does right now. It’s in the number 1 spot of a couple keywords.

I had planned that when I reached 100 pages I would start promoting my site much better. I basically haven’t made any back linking in the last 2 months except adding all new posts I make to facebook/Google+ and twitter.

From here though I can’t decide on what route I should go. My main page gets the most impressions today with about 30k monthly but that only converts to 1% visitors. Is it a good way to start building links straight to the main page, or is it wiser to build to individual pages? And maybe try to rank one by one higher In the Serps.

As I mentioned my days are limited and maybe building for individual pages to more steadily get more visitors to my site but maybe at a slower rate?

Another thing that I need to do on my site is to make it more appealing, I have a high bounce rate and low page views (my inner linking is really lacking and my design is not what I would ask for) is this maybe more important to fix first before starting backlinking?

Another thing to add, for the first 5 days adsense have a 2% car (I’m not even sure if this is decent or not)

Anyway, I’m not looking for anyone to tell me exactly what I need to do, I just want some inputs and advice on where to go since I can’t really decided for myself what would benefit me the most in the long run.

And I have to thank for all the insanely helpful information that I have got from the warrior forums over the last couple months.

Your internal link structure should always be the first on-page SEO you do, everything else can be tweaked as time permits.

The page that gets the vast majority of visitors isn't one of my "big pages" that could get much more visitors than it does right now. It’s in the number 1 spot of a couple keywords.
Build more relevant internal pages around that higher traffic keyword.

Example, If your higher traffic keyword is dog food, build more internal pages around the keywords:
    • pet food
    • pet diet
    • dog diet
    • dog nutition
    • healthy dog
    • healthy puppy
    • recommend dog diet
    • etc...

After you build the new relevant internal pages, add a link towards the top of the content on the new page/s pointing at the already ranked page.

You don't have to use the already ranked keyword more than once in the new page content, what your trying to do is associate that already ranked keyword/page with the new keywords/pages.

Do not listen to anyone that talks about keyword stuffing/density, that's the last thing you want.

Google looks at multiple pages & tries to group them based on relevancy.

    You are going good wieli.

As you are already ranking then you need not have to worry more about back linking. Do only authority linking rather than link bombarding.

If you are using wordpress then you can use free plugin seo internal links. Internal linking will give more SEO benefit to you.

As far as structure is concern clean and decent look works well rather than fancy, stunning look sites. You can add some pictures to your post to hold visitors for a moment.

And you are going well with Adsense.

Thanks Yukon and K Mec for the replies.

This was also the first site i wrote article to, so in the beginning the articles is not the best and even if it wasn’t keyword stuffing it was a lot of bold/underline HI tags etc. I have completely ignored this for quite some time. I haven’t "fixed those old articles either though.

I had a lot more internal linking before the end of April. Might have been way to much. I took away almost all my internal linking and at this point i also started to get visitors. Penguin might have liked when I took down on the amount of internal links, what do I know

One thing when it comes to internal linking.

Right now at the bottom of every article there it lists all articles i have in the same category. Would it be wise to take this away and just do link in content instead? Or could i keep the links in the bottom and still do internal linking (within the cathegory) in the content?
