Is Article Ranks is still effective ?

I seen most of the SEO team using still ArticleRanks.com to raise their ranking and backlinks.. after penguin.. is this still effective.. i already knows most of the private network is already banned by google.. please let me know your response and experience.

Yeah it works if your content is unique and original.

I think that, after penguin updates Article rank not beneficial for us as past. So only focus to creating high quality links using guest blogging.
