I have heard that you can test your target market using PPC, i am an affiliate and i am not that familiar with PPC. I basically drive traffic with SEO and i would like to incorporate PPC testing. Can you guys help me out how to test like a specific keyword if it is profitable using PPC.

Here is a helpful post about testing with PPC Get the Biggest Bang for Your PPC Test Budget

By the way, before i pursue SEO and organic rankings I always test the keyword first and find the right ad copy / offer to find out which gets more attention (more clicks) and gets more conversions (based on the offer on the landing page).

This is important because if you start SEO work for a keyword, you don't for sure if that keyword will convert, if it is a dud, or if it converts with your current headline or offer on the page that you want to rank organically.

    You sure can.

Simply run a small PPC campaign using the top keywords that you think will convert.
Make sure you track the conversions for each sale.
Give it a few days until you have enough data, then start running a SEO campaign for your top converting keyword.

The most important part is to make sure that you are tracking each individual keyword to the point of sale. You can not achieve this without tracking.

    Good Luck
