well it doesn't matter in Google plus. Google plus is social netowrk & you can easly post update for a website. There is no need to create two different accounts to promote each site. This work can be done by single Google plus account.

As mentioned by Damienelsing, one Google account can be used to create multiple business pages. You can actually create up to 20 Google Plus pages with the same account. Note that you can only have one personal profile per Google account.

I have also seen a lot of discussion around how G+ effects search rankings, especially in the Google search engine. Notably, users can add a + in front of a name to find that user or page in search. For example +pepsi. There are also the social signals that help SEO and Google has the advantage of being able to place a plus 1 button next to search results making it very easy for people to click it if they wanted. This is opposed to some other social network where people have to travel to that website to perform that action.
