I think google is one of my sites the other day it was at the bottom of page one now its on page 26. What the heck happened

There are several things that can
be responsible for this.

This normally happens to new sites,
the SEO strategy you are using,
and how your site was built.

Depending on how new the site is, you might be experiencing rank and tank. Very common with new sites as Google tries to figure out where to put you.

Probably your SEO. I can't imagine google moving you from page 1 to 26 just based on the duration of your site. Unless you changed something to your site that caused it to rank you elsewhere.

Quick question... Are you ranking for keywords that ranked you previously on page 1?

Check your webmaster dashboard first and then check the the site for any spam script running in it.. I got this problem last week and fix it in the same way and got my rankings back now! All the Best

Could be any number of things.

Do you use Google Webmaster Tools? If not you probably should, it's free and gives some good insight into the relationship between your site and Google's results.
