Question about Panda or Penguin

It's been 3 months now and I still don't know what algorithm hit my travel website. I've already added 15 new pages with 500 word relevant content, maintained keyword density of 2%....minimized my backlinks, removed old backlinks and stopped doing new links

I haven't seen any warning on my Google Webmaster Tools

My website is still down to page 20+ ranks

I have been reading around this forum for a long time, but now my case is getting serious, nice to be here.

    On the tail of the latest Panda update, penguin came down this past month.
    According to Google’s When panda launched_     This update is designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sites—sites which are low-value add for users, copy content from other websites or sites that are just not very useful. At the same time, it will provide better rankings for high-quality sites—sites with original content and information such as research, in-depth reports, thoughtful analysis and so on.
    According to Google's Penguin Update_
    Sites affected by this change might not be easily recognizable as spamming without deep analysis or expertise, but the common thread is that these sites are doing much more than white hat SEO; we believe they are engaging in webspam tactics to manipulate search engine rankings.

    How do you know you have done anything wrong?

    Stopping all new links to your website will not make you rise back up.

    If I was you I would concentrate strongly on building new links on a consistent basis. These should be high quality relative backlinks and they should look natural.

    Perhaps your site is not as relevant to the keywords as it used to be in Google's eyes? Perhaps you need to refocus your content and research fresh keywords?

    I swear I want to be wrong, altough, in my opinion, the "severe hit by Penguin websites" will never fully recover.
    Maybe disavow tool can help them?
    I strongly doubt. I also doubt this tool will be launched

    Just build better links to your site.

    Not this mega blast stuff. I am talking about HIGH PR contextual relevant links... preferably relevant links.

    Everyone is always fast to blame the Pengiun, but Google seems to be putting Panda updates out about 1-4 weeks before they update page rank.

    If you spammed alot of backlinks well then it was probably Penguin.

    Do you have a lot of ads (text or image) above the fold, or perhaps your website just looks spammy? If that's the case, it was Panda...Or maybe both to some degree.

    Hi,

    Just as others have stated, you need to continue building "good" links. Keep adding quality content, but also get the word out and keep on getting links.

    As I stated in my last post that content is the king so you must write the content unique not the same content in different way. However there a lot of terms in travel to explain or the services which your brand selling. Use the selling services and write useful content which is also search engine friendly.

    Not only the content but the meaning meta tags and keyword placements are also very important. Send 301 directions to the search engine if the url gets changed and do internal linking in a user friendly way.

    Find you all backlinks and remove unnatural and spammy links. Start seo as a fresh . Use high quality content and follow google guideline. I hope in next penguin you can get good results.
