Google Keyword Tool Searches

Got my first local client.

After doing research I found his competitors on google page 1 on some keywords that have no global or local searches using the google keyword tool.

Yet, his competitors are there and there is paid advertising.

Should I go after these keywords with a mixture of some that are getting searches?

Or just ignore the ones that show no local search?

I value each and everyones opinion.

    I think I would setup adwords campaigns for them to see if there is any traffic at all .. if there isn't .. no need to complicate your work with them ...

    If this the very first launch of a website.. please do not go for PPC. First come to #1 for least searched keywords and then try other keywords. Google is now after money and if you go for PPC at the start..they will sure take more time to come on ranking for regular searches. I myself a victim.
