Scrapebox used to be really great some years ago, but automated blog comments are slowly dying, and Google puts less and less authority into them. I think that if you know what you are doing, Scrapebox may still be useful. Whatever you decide, never ever blast directly to your website!

Also the massive blasts might not be good for your site. You have to "drip feed." The value of this software depends on your blog list. They have to be DO FOLLOW. Finally, even if you get a good list, most of the blogs there are already beaten to death by other automated comment marketers. As a result, the posts you have comment links on have so many comments, there's NO JUICE LEFT TO PASS.

It's a powerful tool, don't get me wrong. But in a practical context, you're best bet is to BUILD REAL BLOG RELATIONSHIPS via blog comments instead. scrapebox is still a must have seo tool, it is great for scraping links that you can post to on the internet (manually if you want). and still is very useful.

I would use it as a PPV url scraper.

I bought it quite a while ago and I personally did not like it as it was very slow. I wanted to use it for harvesting, but it was dead slow with public proxies, so it was a waste of money and I had to write my own. But there are a lot of users who are happy with it.

It amazes me how many people completely miss 99% of the things Scrapebox can do. Blog commenting is its least useful feature, in my opinion, yet so many people think that is about all it does.

To the OP, do not buy Scrapebox just because you hear people saying good things about it. What is it you are looking to do? If Scrapebox can help you do that, then yes buy it.

I like it and use it so much that I bought two licenses for it.

To be truthful i never use it anymore, I`ve had it years and back in the day i had it running night and day but i dont do blasts and forum backlinks, i dont have anything to check to see if its indexed, no more rss ect

But if your willing to learn the ropes with it you can find high PR blogs in your niche to comment on which are of course mega powerful

So if your serious about finding high pr blogs to comment on yes go for it but to use scrapebox in this way takes a bit of learning

Well. It is NOT so powerful as it was about a year before or maybe a little more. But it can still work for you and it could help you find any good blogs to post comments on, but do NOT do this automatically, but post comments MANUAL!!!

You can also use scrapebox for market research. Post spun but fairly specific comments. See who clicks your links. Figure out which blogs have the most responsive audiences and MANUALLY comment on those. In this way, you use SB to automate the filtering of your blog list.
