HELP...how did they rank well for a competitive keyword?

Hi everyone, I wonder how my competitor did this...they rank high for a competitive keyword "eco"

their website is http://newlaunchguru.com/eco

their website is not right clickable and their backlinks make use of anchor texts such as Author name...sample of their backlink is coming from http://www.ezine.bakuganwiki.info/?p=6073

where the name Dr. Finbar Bakri is hyperlinked to the website

how could this be possible?

Im also trying to rank for the condo Eco

    According to ahrefs:

    - 103 backlinks using the anchor "eco"
    - 61 baclinks using the anchor "eco condo"

    eco being the most used anchor text.

    I don't see the site you mentioned ranking on the front page of Google for the term "eco" in the US. What country are you tracking that term for?
