since when does adsense care how many words are on the page? for example someone's contact page might only have like 30 words on...this would be breaking the TOS to have ads on this page? I highly doubt it

There is no minimum word count per Adsense page. I have 2,000+ Adsense pages that average around 1 sentence of content text per page (not a typo) on 5-6 year old sites.

The world doesn't revolve around articles, that only happens on WF.

Is this means if I wrote 100 words per Adsense page it will be normal?

      Thanks

If you mean 100 words and only one hundred words come on - you know the answer

Normal for me or normal for you, because I don't do articles & you do (according to OP)?

Articles are only popular here on WF because most folks got hooked on meeting article directory requirements (EZA, etc...) in order to drop backlinks, which somehow was misinterpreted along the way as being the only way to earn money with Adsense (wrong).

There's a lot more to the net than articles.

Example, running Adsense without articles: http://www.dafont.com/

How much text do you see on this Adsense page? There's 69 words & that includes every single bit of plain text & anchor-text on the Google Cache page (text version).

There's plenty more examples of low text count pages on Adsense sites, just look around the net. I've been doing this for 6 years & Adsense has never had a problem with my Adsense sites which are very similar to how dafont is setup, only in a different niche (same concept).

Low text count does not mean thin content. In the dafont example, there's no reason in this world to create an article for a downloadable font. Dafonts pages deliver exactly what the traffic expects, zip files that include a font, the zip/font file is the content. Don't get caught up in the fascination on this forum to continually count words for every single thing you do (SEO, Adsense, whatever...).

Read the Adsense TOS & use common sense when creating your page layouts.

More importantly, don't follow the herd, do your own thing.

Look at image sharing website like 9gag or lol .... there is ZERO word per post.
There is no word count penalty.
All they are looking for is value to reader.

    .
Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.

Actually there are not clear number of words, but Adsense always hate Ads placed on less content. So it is always better to have good and informative content around your ads. I suggest having a minimum of 450 - 500 words per article for placing adsense ads.

Hi there, I agree with what yukon has said - there is no as such minimum word count for an article to comply with adsense terms and conditions. Ideally, try to maintain a word-length of at-least around 400-500 words. Remember that - adsense will always struggle to deliver targeted and relevant ads if your content is too thin. Best of Luck
