Web 2.0 Link Building Question

Hello all, I first posted this question in the website design forum because I thought that's where overall website/service reviews went, but I got yelled at by a very angry looking warrior forum user that I wouldn't want to mess with - LOL. So please let me know if I've got it right this time.

I'm not looking to sell anything here. Eventually I'll probably post my first ever WSO and offer a significant discount to gather reviews, but right now I'm in launch phase and still trying to gather up as much constructive feedback as possible.

OK...

I recently started a web 2.0 link building service that focuses heavily on researched, quality content and 2nd tier backlinks.

I'm hoping to get some feedback like: does my service make sense...does it seem useful...does the price look right for what you get? Really, any feedback is appreciated!

Here's the site: http://www.authoritybuzz.com

Thank you!
Ryan

Am I reading this right? 10 articles and 20 backlinks (2 per page) for $275?

That's part of the picture, but it goes deeper.

Yes, 10 articles, but researched quality content...not $2 articles that are spun or garbage content that doesn't make sense.

And we build back links to the 10 page hub for 6 months...so eventually the hub will rank for long tail traffic. So not only do your backlinks become stronger, but they could result in direct traffic by someone finding your hub and then clicking on one of your links.

And lastly, it's full service. You give us the 10 article topics, but then we create the content...build the 10 page wordpress hub with articles, images, backlinks and youtube videos...and then build links to the hub for 6 months.

I agree tons of bs gets put out at $2 per article however I will be blunt, give me 15 minutes on google and I can turn around to write an article you swear was written by a doctor who has years of surgical experience. If I really wanted to be blunt, you can get this on fiverr as well. A person might have to purchase 2 gigs to get what they want sometimes but it is hand written and well researched.
        (Remember you asked for input)

I think you need to explain this better and with more depth, when you read your page it is easy to pass over this as if it isn't something that's important. You also don't provide a lot of details here which gives the feel of a magic act and not a service.

Another section you glanced over in your description. The way I am reading this now, you create a website, write the articles and for 6 months provide backlink service (still unknown what kind, how many really or of what quality).

Hope this all makes sense, I really hate multi quoting.. lol

Awesome feedback Nelapsi. I really appreciate the time you're taking here.

I hear what you're saying about paying about Fiverr. I supposed you could pay $10 per article and get something comparable. So right there you're up to $100. But you'd have to place the order for the 10 articles, set up the hub, add the articles/videos/images and then build the links to the hub for 6 months. So I think what I need to convey is how easy my service makes it because I do all this for you. Yes you could do it cheaper of course if you did it yourself, but time is money.

The links to the hub for 6 months is done via social bookmarking and article marketing.

Lastly, you're saying that I need to describe my service in more detail. I was afraid my "how it works" contained too much detail. Are you saying I should break it down even more? http://www.authoritybuzz.com/pages/how-it-works. I also threw up a 2 minute video on my sample page that pretty much summarizes what the service is. http://www.authoritybuzz.com/pages/sample.

Again, THANK YOU, for your feedback. Super helpful. I'm so close to the website that it's great to get an "outsiders" view.

QUESTION - What do you think an attractive (but realistic) price would be for Authority Buzz?

This is a great point and in many ways a point you need to make because even I didn't think about that when reading it.

You could of had more info in the video, I never watch them to be honest. I am not sure if I am normal or abnormal there though. I treat videos as nothing more then a commercial of sorts in these cases.

So what would you say is a realistic price point that would make Authority Buzz a "no brainer"?

Yes but you aren't reaching your potential customers. Reasons for this are kind of simple:
                1. Those that understand what you can do with an MNS, usually have no issue in doing the work either. So this you need to show them why this is better an easier solution. Because if done right in under 6 months they could have a site ready to make money.
                2. I would indeed show the flip side of the business, provide a no lose situation if you know what I mean. If possible I would even demonstrate it.

I do consider this an MNS style site but that's just me. I do think your job is to break down what you are offering and compare it against other ways of doing it. Almost like a software comparison would be done,

I will be honest, I missed most of your info as I read through it initially. It has taken this conversation before I actually started to understand and learn more about what you are really offering. Probably need a way to make sure customers don't do this.
