How To Rank Top 3 In The Search Engines - HIGH PR BACKLINKS WORK!

Hey all. Just wrote a post over at my blog on why I think HIGH PR BACKLINKS (contextual links) are KING and will always BE KING (when it comes to backlinks of course).

Yeah I know diversity is important, but these type of links are the cream of the crop in my opinion.

Now I am not a master at SEO at all (not many people are honestly), all I can share is what works for me and proof that it does.

Hope you find it useful!

Sure they are great, but it's incredibly unatural to have a bunch of high PR backlinks and a few low quality links. You need a really diverse mix of low and high quality backlinks from mutiple platforms. But I read your post, I agree with the privately owned blog network, I use them myself. I see tons of people selling blog network services, but that's public and I really question how long those will last, ie both staying online and being exposed. Also it takes much much more than just those methods to get ranked "top 3" online..

Why? Loads of sites only have high quality backlinks and few or no low quality spammy links.

I do some work in academic and educational fields and there are hundreds of sites that only get links from other trusted, high-authority domains because what they publish isn't interesting to most people. It doesn't get linked to from forums, social networks, web 2.0 etc. It gets linked to from authority sites.

If your "high PR backlinks" are actually clean, white-hat editorial links from quality sources, I see no reason you have to "balance" them with spammy low quality links.

You may be right about it being unnatural to just have high PR backlinks. But that is also why I believe some type diversity is also important.

Yep, you will need some more on stuff page things to get your keyword to rank up to such as on page SEO, content etc. But based on my results just these type of links alone can rank a site up top. Sometimes not even the best quality of sites.

How? I am linking to a blog post I wrote about this topic.

Sure it's a post on my blog but am I trying to sell you anything? I don't even have an opt in form on my blog at the moment.

      Common.

Sorry PR is not King. There is no decisive one win technique. Besides PR is just for Google search results.

I really didn't say PR is king. I said I believe HIGH PR CONTEXTUAL BACKLINKS are king. Simple as that.

Sure there may be better ones in other peoples opinions but those seem to work best for me...

I have a Fiverr gig where I post my clients high quality articles with their contextual link on my PR7 blog and I am their "best kept secret" to SEO. I rank many folks to the top of Google daily. I had one client message me to say their page jumped from a PR2 to a PR6 last update and are dominating SERPs.

You are right, high PR context backlinks are king. The proof is in the pudding. I'm surprised more folks haven't learned quality over quantity for SEO is how you dominate search engines.

Isn't it common knowledge that a link at a page with pagerank is the key to ranking high?

People act like it's something new that they discovered while it's the whole 101 basics of ranking a site.

Actually no, it is not common knowledge. There are NEW people who come online everyday and begin to learn SEO and start doing things that are simply not productive and don't work.

Instead of seeing that happen, I rather them begin by starting to get the best type of links.

I know when I started, I tried a lot of those crappy softwares to get as many links as possible. My mind was about QUANTITY.

Now it's about QUALITY. But it took me a while to learn that.

I don't know, seems to me just as logical as that a car with more HP has more strength or 1+1 = 2.

I'm confused. Are you saying backlinks aren't important after the last google update?

Or are you ASKING if they are?

Meh, I didn't start the thread, I was only posting that I can confirm the OPs stance. High PR contextual backlinks are king. I rank clients daily using this technique. You'd be surprised how many people believe quantity over quality is the way to go.

I enjoyed this review about your service from two days ago:

My article was present. The site is a TOOLBAR PR7. 70 OBL. 0 Citation Flow from 18 links on 23SEPT2012. The link profile looks like a PR1 or PR2 site. This makes sense, as it's very hard to maintain a legitimate PR7 site. This isn't like GearMonkey, most of his gigs are great. This one, not so much.

From a PR7 domain LOL, I wonder how legit that domain will be if he also has PR9 domains in a $119 package. A PR9 who's that boy trying to fool here!

well maybe he is a webmaster at Adobe that is about to quit? Good eyes though. I thought the PR7 on fiverr was kinda out there since they run thousands of dollars but a PR9? Do you know the kind of sites that have to link to you to get a PR9?

I have yet to find one truly legitimate PR9 selling links and definitely not on WF or in a $119 package.

I once found one that was rented out for $1000 or $2000/month (don't remember really) but back then I was in no position to judge whether it was legit or not.

Anyway, you don't need sites to link to get a PR9, a simple redirection is sufficient to fake it

Awesome! Glad you are also seeing good results with this as well. It's def a more quality approach and only getting a handful of these links can make a big difference. Most of the ways to get these links also are NOT automated...which make it a bit harder to acquire.

    Thanks for sharing gearmonkey!

Maybe I will check out your fivver gigs since your clients are so happy! ;-)

When you say irrelvant are you talking about a high PR profile link done with automation? If so then yeah, you may be right. Even though I bet they still work to some extent.

But I am purely speaking of conextual high pr backlinks with highly relevant content about the topic and not SPUN or anthing like that. Yeah, the harder type of backlinks to get..lol.
