web2.0 Backlink Checker

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows away of checking backlinks to web2.0 properties. Everytime I submit my url to the backlink checker, it just gives results for the hosting site i.e wordpress.com, tumblr.com etc. Link:mysite.wordpress.com does not work for most backlinks.

    Don't think so since I have a lot of blogs which shows backlinks by checking link:website.wordpress.com. Show me the website or it may be there is no backlink for your domain.

    Google does not show information about backlinks. They haven't for a very long time.

    I suggest you plug that URL into ahrefs or seomoz open site explorer and then you'll see its backlinks (partially as they are both paid services).

    Nope, Google will not show all your backlinks. I've used SEO Quakes and it's not showing all my backlinks.

    Use majestic or ahrefs, they will show you the subdomains.
