Most of the users from various forums and other discussions talk about content is the king and content must be good and perfect without errors. But today I found some websites(less competitive keyword), they are having worthless content and standing on the first page of google. How is it possible ? Google concentrate more on content for high competitive keywords ? After seeing such websites..I really going to get angry on people telling "content is the king"

It just helps to have quality content but it's not impossible to rank with bad content.

For example if you Google: google guitar you will notice 9gag is on the first page and their content is seemingly gibberish.

Content is important and can help you rank. It's always a good idea to use the highest quality content available to you for your sites. But being an authority site can trump content - that's how these picture sites rank for keywords.

In the long run, the thin content websites will be slapped by panda into virtual oblivion.

Not to mention, good content sells and gets shared more often. If you're looking for quick results and test things out, okish content will work.

Anyway, for the results you're seeing, they may very well disappear overnight. Just because they're there, it doesn't mean they have stayed there for months and years.

content is king, but it's better to think of it as a joint monarchy shared with other aspects, some with less power and some with equal power.

No-ones going to read the content unless you promote it.

Writing quality content that people want to share on their facebook / twitter / digg and link on their blogs is king.

Writing viral content isn't hard, just have to be creative.

Content is surely a king,no doubt about it.But it does became a king with the help of its soldiers i.e. keywords, anchor text, title etc.Without them it will never ever gain this much of position in the SERPs.
