Is this normal for Adsense?

Hey guys I started a video game blog, wiiu-gamers.com, in July as an experiment. Basically, I wanted to see if I could make a few bucks on targeting a niche (the newest Nintendo video game console). So far, for the month of September, I have had 520 visitors from search traffic and 400 from referral traffic. I have the blog monetized with two Adsense ads and for this month I have had one click. Is that about normal for the number of visits I get? Should I consider a different ad network?

You have very low traffic. You can try optimizing the placement of adsense ads ... but I don't think it will do much for you. Games oriented websites have low CTR with adsense.

I would recommend a jquery pop up promoting CPA game offers.

I can back this up with a CTR of 1.2% Just drive the traffic, the numbers work out in the end.

I have a site in the gaming niche.. so this is my experience:
You don't really have the traffic yet to really get a grasp on where your users are clicking ads yet. So you need to really work on driving that traffic higher, when it gets to 150 UV per day was when I was able to start to test ad placement.

I have been considering not switching but adding another network or CPA kind of stuff but have yet to find one or understand how it all works. I do know out of the CPC adsense seems to have some decent ads for gaming.
