Anyone using SerpIQ?

I started using SerpIQ and I found 2 keywords with competition 39%.
Every keyword with competition below 40% is considered a low competition keyword.
1- Is SerpIQ accurate and good?
2- Do keywords with < 40% competition easy to rank and need little work?

  • Hey There,

I'm the guy who built serpIQ, so I'll see if I can help ya out a bit. A score of below 40 is pretty safe to consider a Low Competition keyword as our CI score has been tested against about a quarter million keywords and proves to be accurate in greater than 95% of cases (there are always outliers with any large dataset unfortunately).

Now, a keyword with a score below 40 might be easier or harder to rank for depending on a few things, including:

    1) your overall SEO skill. Some people can rank any site for any keyword, others have more trouble
    2) the site you're trying to rank. A brand new site might be more difficult to rank than an older, authoritative one.

Hopefully that helps. Also, as a heads up, we're launching a full rebuild of the product next week, you can find out more details here (and watch a demo video of the new system in action): serpIQ 2.0 Exclusive Lifetime Discount Offer

    • NIce revamp and Good looking tool but with the new pricing you have to go up to $249 a month just to not have the serpIQ logos in your report? and limited to 500 keyword searches at $99 a month? You can go through a hundred or more on one niche by itself. Given that it gives only a few more bells and whistles than one time payment keyword tools (or SEOquake) have I dunno if I could justify that $1200 a year bill. I would still jump if it gave great backlink checking but thats limited to a 250 links per page

Real competition can have hundreds of links.
    • Hey dchuk still have the lifetime offer
