I posted this in the main forum but I guess this is a better place for it.

My mother is an acting teacher and runs her own studio. She has asked me to help her get her website ranked on the first page of Google for various keywords like "Acting School Toronto" etc.

I'm pretty new to IM so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or resources on how to do this.

Is this essentially what is referred to as SEO?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
