Any views on BAD things that can happen using Google analytics on Secondary sites?
- SEO |
I have taken the advice from almost everyone in here, on creating secondary sites to my money sites in the sigs below.
My question is about the more obvious trace-ability of these sites and if its worthwhile NOT using google analytics in just ONE account for all the secondary sites.
MAIN ISSUES: I have all my secondary sites on one hosting plan, which means that google will see them all coming from one IP address. Yes I do this to save money, as a dog walker needs to do.
I thought for a while that I should not use Google analytics for my secondary sites (all under one GA account, but different from my money sites GA account) because it would 'give the game away' to google that they were secondary sites (even if they have good content, which they do) and so Google would down-rate the link power coming from them to my main sites.
But since I can only afford having these sites on one host, and am probably already giving the game away, DOES IT MATTER, If i let google track the secondary sites more closely, by having them on one GA account OR ANY GA account at all (not the same as my money site GA accounts)?
Just wondering on your views, such as have you found that Google has a threshold of say, allowing 10 secondary site on one IP, and all in one GA account before the down-rate any power? Yes its all speculative, but if I can save time in learning another free analytics software, then I will just get a new gmail account and put the secondary sites onto that GA associated account.
Thanks
