looking seo service for website managment package

Greetings All and thanks for your advice upfront.

I am creating a new website management package as one of my services. I would like to outsource the SEO part of it which would be some kind of monthly service. I am not worried about top ranking in google, but rather building traffic to the sites and over time the search engines rankings in general going up across a handful of keywords. Also I would like the package to work with many urls and be changeable. For example maybe each month update it to build links to a different blog post, and different internal pages not just the home page or certain key pages. I would also prefer some kind of setup where the links point at other pages created as part of the campaign such as articles, etc to help it look more natural.

I saw many interesting services in the WSO section of this form ranging from say $25 and up. I am on a tight budget so really would prefer something <$60 a month there is no way I could afford the $200, $400, $1000+ etc packages I have seen googling around.

Any advice, guidance, suggestions, recommendations, etc would be appreciated ...

      Hi,

First advice, don't be fooled by low costs.
Proper SEO takes years of experience, and hours upon hours of diligent execution.

My company (Wisdek) has been in the SEO industry since 1998, and has proven success with our own sites and the campaigns of our clients.
If you sign with me, you will have an entire company at your disposal not just some guy in his basement.

For what you get, our rates are extremely cost effective.
In fact, try a search for "cost effective seo" and see who shows up.

Everything you are mentioning is included in our Enterprise package.

Get back to me with a good time to call and we can discuss in further detail.
      ~ James

    Best Regard.

Our website, or a clients site that we've done? How about I give you both. Our site is wisdek.com. We did a very good seo project for sohos.com" (a very large, corporate CRM company based in Israel). I cannot post the links themselves cause I just found out about this site and I created an account last week. I have 2 posts, (now 3) when I get to fifteen then I can share links. No worries however just copy/paste the above addresses in a google search. You'll see for yourself who we are and what it is we can do for you no problems. Enjoy! I'm available for any questions at 407-486-1775.

We also, have seo undergoing for Aveda, a well know cosmetics company, and we have some techs of ours, that have helped BMW recover from being sandboxed due to doing seo with "black-hat" operators. We have quite a resume, and in spite of that, we are very cost effective considering the quality of work being provided.

At this point i suggest learning SEO and doing the job yourself...

$60 won't even be enough to hire a good article writer...

If i were you i will keep my $60 and do the job myself.

Or spend the $60 on stuff i hate most or can't perform.

Like for me, i hate article writing, so i outsource that part...

The good ol' adage of you get what you pay for rings true with SEO.

The higher quality linkbuilding and especially full suite SEO services aren't cheap, and that's because they work. They take time building higher quality links, higher quality content, and higher quality strategies.

Would you rather pay $60/mo. for something that won't move you much in the search engines? Or pay $200/mo. and see real results....

I have only one thought. You get what you pay for and that's that. 25 dollars may be cheap and for what he's offering but consider this.

-One. On one of his testimonials his client states he got on the first page of google after one day. I don't care how long you've been doing seo. That is not an organic growth, google did not rank his site to that position in relevancy and other trusted sites. That takes two to three months of having a technician constantly monitor and observe the traffic and effectiveness and I guarantee his site is now sandboxed by Google. If not, how come there are no links to these sites in his testimonials? Lets see his 'success'. I provided url's in mine. Why can't the guy with the 'flashy' ads on his thread do the same? Let that marinate. If he is indeed so experienced than that shouldn't be so hard to do. I smell black-hat all over this.

-Two. Where is the technical information explaining how he will gain trust with google to boost your page rank? I'm waiting.

-Three. 42 'Thanks' but yet "tons of rave reviews" and "thousands of warriors". Right.

      -Four. I do my homework.

Look Road. I hate being so blunt but I would rather be forward than waste your time or mine. If you cannot compromise on price your business, your website, is going to suffer. I have seen it time and time again when 'price' overrules quality. Well proper, thourough seo is an INVESTMENT not a product. You don't place seo on a shelf to look pretty. You dont use seo once and throw it away. It is supposed to WORK for YOU. I am one of the few warriors if the only warrior in this forum that works for a established company. Serving seo since 1998 and has done work for big names and conglomerates, that alone should be enough said. Point blank. You go with this guy in three months YOU WILL be sandboxed. And good luck recovering your domain. You will need to rebuild and that will cost you heavily. Your 25 dollar investment has now turned into 20,000 bill between the cost of building a new site, getting a new host for your domain etc etc. Go with wisdek, and myself, and in three months you will be on the first page organically, not overnight through "script-kiddie" methods. Instead of investing more to recover from damage you'll have more money to invest in other things. Your toys, your family, your life. Again I hate being too forward cause I do prefer a 'gentle' approach, but it is what it is. I'd rather be direct than bs you. With Respects ~ James D. Ferrand

wisedek & james thanks for your bluntness you concerns are the same as mine ... though you obviously know a ton more about seo then I do.

The problem I am facing is I need to do something to turn things around. I do not have the cash to spare to invest hundreds. I wish I did I really do. I have been working at finding p/t or f/t work but so far that has gone no where. I am picking up a few clients here and there but that is a very slow process and I have a mountain of debt from mistakes I made like 6 years ago.

I fully understand seo will bring the funds back, down the road with increased traffic and thus profit. But there are tons of us that could go somewhere but dont have the financial resources to spend $400 on SEO, $400 on site development, hundreds more on marketing and so forth every month. There has to be a another option ...

thanks 102drive i need all the luck I can get

I have been going through the thread I mentioned above for the $25 WSO Seo package ... looking specifically for comments from those who have bought, though I have done this in past too... I wanted to see

    1) how many if any negative such as I lost ranking or got sandboxed and so far I only know of 1 who says they lost ranking

    2) wanted to see if warriors had good results ... most who posted comments did have good results stating an improvement in ranking...

    3) important note i know this is just link building I will be handling on site seo changes, keyword research, as well as content and using keywords in that content and then having links built to that new content using those keywords and so forth ... I am not looking at this package as a one stop seo kind of thing but rather just having links built and i need to do the rest

That's not a realistic monthly budget for any SEO campaign if you're having someone else do the work for you.

Sorry for getting a bit over-zealous. I just don't want to see you spend little and end up wrecked in the long run. Whichever option you go with, one things on your mind for certain. You feel like it's making a gamble. What kind of business do you do? I want to see if I can possibly get you some info on the keywords you'll be using, and what area your targeting. City wide, nation wide etc. Least I can do for now.

You can also call my cell 407-486-1775 (Orlando, Florida number) Best to call when I am at my desk Mo-Fri 10am to 6pm EST. I do take calls after hours as well.

      Hi Wisdek,

Your SEO service seems interesting and kind of what I am looking for. Is your service and approach to building links Penguin/Panda friendly? I previously successfully used another SEO company, but all my gains were wiped out after the Penguin updates. How Google safe is your company?

Also, I noticed that almost all (if not all) your case studies are for optimizing for local search i.e "blue widget in Vancouver", "paris red widgets", etc. My question is, do you optimize for terms that are not targeting a specific locality?

Finally, all your case studies are pre-panda/penguin. How were your clients affected by panda/penguin?

      Thanks

The Penguin and Panda updates are predominately effected by content.
Even with back-links, the major update was the Google paid closer attention to the text surrounding the anchor text from the back link.

Yes, we had to make adjustments, but the only clients we carry that we adversely effected were those who had bad content directly on their site, or were damaged by black hat links prior to working with us.

With some content updates and link cleansing, a re-index brought them back to regular standing.
So, we are very Google friendly.

Your second question; Most of our clients deal with local based commerce, this is why we use these examples.
However, many of our clients are concerned with state-wide, national, or even international business. This is why we have created several packages catering to each scenario.
Why don't we arrange a phone call to review all of these questions, and make sure that we have a package that meets your ambitions?

        James

Thanks Wisdek I dont think you got over-zealous I think your just sick of all the junk seo services out there that do more harm then good and give the real SEO people a bad name.

I do custom php / mysql work freelance but I am trying to move away from that. To much of it is going over seas, to be messed up, and then clients expect me to be able to clean the mess up for pennies and in seconds ... I have just lost my drive for doing that work. What I am trying to move into is more month to month site management.

I also run two large content sites. Both need a lot of seo work. One is Boy Scouting based InsaneScouter.org but yet gets about 30k visitors a month but only makes about $30 - $40 a month from adsense when I am lucky. The other site is an outdoor camping related site and the name sake for my username here roadceo.com. I have dabbled in using affiliate ads with no luck. I find I make the most money from selling my own ads, but how many ads I can sell is limited to the amount of traffic the site gets.

By the way I am currently in Las Vegas Nevada which is PST time zone. My ultimate goal is to live on the road full time out of an rv or even a tent lol...
