Are Fiverr Backlink Gigs Safe for Google?

Hey guys,

I was just curious on if you think getting backlink gigs on Fiverr are safe, or if you put yourself at risk of getting dinged by Google, or worse sandboxed.

What types of gigs are best? What kinds of backlinks are best? (for example getting profiles on social sites vs. auto backlinks, vs. "manual" backlinks vs. .edu, .gov etc.) I'm getting a bit tired of building manual backlinks so I'm looking for an affordable alternative.

Fiverr Is a good place to get affordable services I guess, but don't expect your $5.00 to go that far.
People too often get pissed off because they paid $5 and didn't get great work done, so don't get your hopes up too high on there.

I would say look for gigs for manual backlinks, would probably be the safest. I just don't put to much trust In a $5.00 job ya know? But that just might be me, maybe some other members have had better experiences on Fiverr that they can share.

Highly recommend to hire people from odesk $5 on fiverr will only give you auto created backlink they will create tons of backlinks but no quality! Best to have Quality links than quantity!!!

Does it look natural? Thats the question you have to ask yourself. If you are already building manual backlinks at a real and steady rate and suddenly 5,000 drop into existence then you are going to look very suspect. Only way that can happen really would be through social sources and the viral effect. Especially if your site is new.

Keep an eye out for drip feed gigs if anything. Alternately drop me a pm and i will see what i can do for you

Otherwise, it would just be too easy to blatantly own your competitors by spamming them with backlinks.

  I've been using Fiverr for a couple of months already.. Just don't get spammy services that promise to get you 100,000 backlinks in a day. You need to filter the good from the bad and Fiverr services would be good for the price.

There are several good social bookmarking gigs that I have used with some success to rank videos....

I agree re the manual work comments - a much safer alternative.

Of course there are also some sound video creation gigs that will give you a bit more link/traffic diversity opportunity as well.

I did not use it (and did not use any blackhat )and today my website (not EMD, about 85 pages, unique, high quality content) got slapped. So now I am thinking to buy at least 20 fiverr gigs with every kind of backlink offer, what do you guys think, can it get worser?

It depends, you will find some good ones, most are trash.

I would go for "pyramid" style ones. You want to avoid sending to many crappy/unjuiced links to your website. Especially if you dont have high quality links to neutralize that signal.

There are some great SEO gigs on fiverr but there are also some that could actually harm your website if you abuse it. Just like any tool you can use it for the greater good or you can be reckless and cause damage.

You should create a safe strategy, plan it out, and use Fiverr or odesk to execute your campaign.
