Adsense showing previous site context ads on new site?!

I have one Wordpress site with an Adsense block delivering correct contextual ads relevant to my keywords on all pages for that site. I have a second Wordpress site set up as an add-on domain at HostGator, but created from scratch with a new Wordpress install in a completely different niche. In my Adsense account I created a new ad block for this new site with a new google_ad_slot code.

Problem: On my new site home page (page that first appears when you type in the URL), Adsense is delivering contextual ads that are not at all relevant to my new niche keywords, but rather are relevant to my first site's keywords! However, on all other pages of this new niche site, Adsense is getting the contextual ads right! It's only the home page that is showing the wrong contextual ads matching the old site!

Anybody have any idea what's going on?!

You are most likely not seeing contextual ads, but rather interest based ads targeted at you because you visit your first site a lot.

Go to Adsense and look at 'Allow and Block Ads -> Ad Review Center -> Shown Ads' to see what is being shown to other visitors.
