Badly badly hit

Two of my revenue generating site were on 1st page with good position on google. After I came back from travelling and checked my sites, they are on 9th page or having no position at all. What is this? I made sure and there's no google update. Is there any way to find the reason behind this?

    • They are removing the high quality EMDs also, even the sub domains.
      I read on the searchengineland.com comments that they are removing the high quality emds also, with the high quality content, strong backlinks, many year old websites.Even they remove a person's blog "hisname.com" for the "His Name" keyword and place the social networking profiles in the top positions!
  • My idea exactly. My EMD sites are all over the map as well.
  • If ceramicstiles.info is one of them then that could be it. Google is going after EMD's, but in addition "low quality" EMD's.
