Changes to Analytics Tracking Affects SEO?

Well today I received a rude surprise, seeing that my traffic dropped by more than 50%.
My pages are still indexed, but I'm ranking WAY lower for all my usual keywords.
I made two changes over the last 48 hours:
1) I added a plugin called Google Analytics for Wordpress which adds event tracking to outbound links. It counts the outbound links as page views.
2) I changed the name of the MYSQL database which brought my site down for about an hour.
Do you think either of these actions would cause the drop? Or do you think it's just a normal update and I got hit?
Thanks,
Casey
