Adsense CTR + CPC Going Down Down Down..

Hello Warriors,
I own a gaming blog based on online games. This blog provides, news, tips and tricks aswell as freebies for certain online games.

The site launched back on august the 1st, and at the moment, and for the past month or so the site has been getting around 900-1500 visitors per day. With around 1400-3000 page views per day.

Normally my average CPC is about £0.15 and my CTR is around 1.4%.

But recently, over the past 2 days these results have gone down loads whilst the amount of traffic has stayed the same.

The cpc is now £0.09 and the CTR is only around 0.6% which is very bad. This is really hurting the site. Normally the site makes around £5 per day, but yesterday it only made £2.41, and today so far hasn't been good either. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks!

    Change niches..

I run a gaming website and can tell you from first hand experience, it sucks. Your CTR and general CPC is right on target for the niche I am sorry to say. I had to learn to write articles in a such a way that they would target some other keywords in addition by "accident" of course. Keep in mind the gaming niche is basically entertainment for the poor, so you shouldn't expect much from it.

I kind of meant that in humor.. I know you can't just like I can't. I just remind myself that I created that website well before I even knew of Adsense.

I had a gaming site based on one game about 2 years ago, it made $6000 as a clickbank affiliate. But now because there isnt a product for these new games I cant make money using clickbank resulting in me using adsense.

Cant you fill the gap and write your own product if you know it pays?

Know this, since its a gaming niche with less whose visitors are not paying visitors, when adword advertisers pay less, its affect you as an adsense publisher, just like it has been said gaming niche is good for CPA offers not adsense
