Keywords New Domain Or Subpage?

Hello, i have a basic question but i wasnt sure how to word it properly for a search.

I have a website that i want to sell multiple products for and i wasnt sure if i needed to buy separate domains in order to get more hits or if a subpage would work fine.

ie domain: my-new-product or mymainsite/myproduct

I just dont want to waste money on domains if it isnt needed

Any help would be great

    You don't have to purchase any other domains. All you have to do is create new pages and sell them on those different pages but on the SAME website.

    If ebay, amazon, gmart were to sell 1 product 1 domain, I'm sure by now they would probably accumulate more than 10 millions domains. Doesn't make sense, isn't it?
