Creating a Niche Site -- IS this Design Bad?

Howdy

Lets say I want to design a site on Organic Dog Food.

And I set up wordpress.

And I have an informative article written for each topic I want to target.

I make:

Organic Dog Food
Organic Puppy Food
Buy Organic Canine Chow
Making Organic Dog Food
Cheap Organic Food for Dogs

I do not keyword stuff and I dont do much optimizing. Just keep it pretty low key.

My question:

Since these are all about Organic Dog Food, yet are still unique in what they are talking about, does it look too NICHE to google? Do I go broader and maybe have an article on Dog Training or other things? Maybe an article on cats?

Because, you see, I feel of G sees a site TOO themed, and its backlinks match too strongly, you get hit by some BS.

Your idea for ranking those keywords is not the best. You're basically repeating extremely related keywords over and over. You don't need a separate article for each ranking. Plus you really want to jazz up your titles a bit.

What you're describing is the typical Micro Niche Site that has been getting hit by the recent Google update. You don't need to write an article on cats on a dog site, but you could be a lot more creative with your articles.

      Is that clearer?

    Yes thanks buddy.

Anyone else have any feedback on this?

Im really afraid I am gonna get hit.

I already have sites like this made and I feel I should broaden them out or put sort of unrelated stuff onthem

Because I feel that adding same topic stuff increases the overall site keyword density..

My point was that on the internet, anything goes mate. A valuable skill to learn around here is to figure out what advice to trust and what to take with a grain of salt. But being here since 2008 im sure you know that by now. It seems as though Antonio is trolling you pretty bad, and unfortunately it seems as though it's working. But i'm also assuming he's advising you to make more of an authority type of site with lots of content, not necessarily 10,000 pages.

Anyway, your topic titles are basically synonyms of each other:

      Organic Dog Food
      Organic Puppy Food
      Buy Organic Canine Chow
      Making Organic Dog Food
      Cheap Organic Food for Dogs

      dog=puppy=canine
      chow=food

All of these are basically the exact same word, so your your onsite topic selection looks really thin and repetitive. Maybe you could try:

Organic dog food your pet will love
If your puppy food isn't all-natural, then you're in trouble
Making your own dog food from home
Buying organic dog food without spending a ton

While some of these topics do contain those synonyms you'll notice that the titles are more diluted and so it doesn't look as if you're lazer targeting a certain keyword. Instead, it looks as though you're attempting to provide RELEVANT and useful information. These types of titles are also more likely to get you a better click through rate from your visitors. Hope that helps.

I wouldn't take that number seriously.

I am not out to be a jerk or to fight
You tried to help and if you were genuine with your statement about 10k pages, that is great. I appreciate it.

Its a little large for me.

But I do have financial independence. 100% online for many years.

Do you know that EMD sites and sites with exact keywords in their content are being hit hard? I would advise to change your approach for a more diversifying content.

Yes I know EMDs are being hit.

    However, mine didn't get hit.
Only one of my big sites got hit.

I think of the sites have a decent amount of content.. and diverse backlinks.. they stay.

So do have any suggestions for me SeoExpertTools?
    I'd love a few tips
