Hi guys, what are EMD or exact matching domains? IS there any benefit with respect to SEO. Actually in US there are several Business owner took such domain, how one can escape from Panda's Penalty?

    EMD & Exact Match Domain both are same.

      People that use EMD's for their parlor tricks are the bane of this forum.

      Anyone can show anything using any ol' search queries. But then
      the real world kicks in.

      It's funny people crow about EMDs in an internet marketing forum
      at "warriorforum.com." Then search for books and stuff at
      amazon.com, then...

      This does not mean that having a keyword in your domain
      can't be valuable. People just go overboard on EMDs, thinking
      they will get tons of visitors.

      The insanity will stop. Maybe google's little algo scare will
      finally slap people in the face.

      Go check. I predicted the demise of this thinking.

        Interesting timing for your question. Last Friday, Google announced the EMD update geared at reducing "low-quality" exact match domains in search results.
