how to choose seo service?

Hi, I have nearly finished developing my new site and am now looking for people to provide SEO, the only problem is I have absolutely no idea who to go with.

Just looking at the services section on this site alone and the amount of different people offering SEO services with good feedback is crazy.

Is there any way to figure out who to use or is it just literally pot luck, pick and hope?

    Look for someone who can provide the following.

    Build backlinks from blogs, forums, directories, press release, and web 2.0 sites
    Lists your site on google business page
    Can optimize your on-page SEO

    Look for an SEO with verifiable testimonials from real-world businesses (not 'reviews' from other warriors that anyone can ask their friends to write).

    Take a look around the warrior forum, there are tons of providers of great SEO services, check out the reviews in the threads and go from there. You can go to Odesk or Fiverr but I think you'll find better quality (or at least CAN find better quality) for a better price here on the WF.

      Stay away from companies that guarantee you a top position in search engines. Make a list of service providers, check out their portfolio and try to determine how well their websites rank in search results. Ask what strategies they are going to use for link building and SEO. Make sure they can provide measurable results.
