Bing, Yahoo

I continue to read suggestions to get away from Google and focus more on Bing and Yahoo. But I don't know really how to do that. My site that tanked thanks to Penquin/Panda/whatever still gets a bit of traffic from these other search engines, and of course I would like to increase that. I know it will never match the big G, but if there a way to optimize specifically for those other engines, I would like to know about it.

Any ideas, please?

    • Actually this isn't even close to being correct, Google has walked away from using meta data and for some aspects the site map file. They rely heavily on both their own methods to find the keywords within content and their spiders to discover content.

  • In my experience Yahoo and Bing rely heavily on your site map so keeping it up to date is important, also knowing how to work the different elements in the site map can help you as well. Just do some research to educate yourself.

Bing rely on meta keywords also in the ranking.

Of course, it is time to kick Google out...
