CPM drop after sync to async change?

Howzit folks,

I recently changed my Adsense tags to start using the new Google Tag Manager, and also changed it to asynchronous tags.

I had to this to enable road blocking features for one advertiser.

Anyway, that now all works, my Adsense has dropped to about 30% of usual results.

I am freaking out here, where can I start checking? It seems that my impressions has increased, but cpm dropped to less than 40% of what it was for over a year, and this is costing me dearly now.

Cheers

OK obviously my previous Google search was not so good, I spent some more time on Google and essentially answered this question, but thought I would post it here in any case for the benefit of other publishers.

There are several threads and blog posts all over of people complaining of the same thing, I have not yet found a solid answer, but all fingers are pointing to it being a result of:

    1) Single request being enabled on GPT tags
    2) The actual GPT tags

I have now disabled Single Request and will monitor for a day or two, if no difference then I will have to revert back to GAM tags, and see what happens.
