I give up

I give up on making MFA sites.

I have been hit hard with the recent update and it's not worth the time to fix and make more MFA sites.

I am now focusing building an authority site that actually provides value to others.

My advise to others are the same, someday in the future Google will get you for making low quality sucky websites.

Hoping for the best

  • Doesn't sound like your giving up to me
  • stuffs like this happen. We just have to continue learning and always be ready for whatever update Google will make. I think, to be safe, we just have to stick to the organic way of optimizing our sites so as not to get hit badly every time the algorithm changes.
  • I'm with you on this. All websites I created were out of the urge of making immediate money online.

And now I realize it's not worth it at all. I hungered for links, I hungered for rankings and now it left me nothing.

I'm saving now to come up with an authority websites in time. For now, I will be just a regular visitor to WF.
  • I would love to continually crack 1G monthly with adsense.

I stay in the 600-700 range, with no work.

    One day.

    • You're not giving up, you're wising up. Google has ALWAYS said what they expect in a quality webste. Now they are better able to enforce it.
  • The MFA model was never built to last.. Trust me, I have lost enough money on this type of stuff LOL.

It is a good thing you are moving away from this "business model".
  • c'mon... just focus to be internet marketer. I had been there..... and I know what you feel.......

    focus to build loyal customer
  • Good to see that your not giving up...
I have being hit pretty hard too and I am also planning to do the same (authority websites) ... but I will take a two month break...
  • Yeah, i spent a lot on MFA sites for the last 2 years and it is not going well. I am trying to fix the problem and find a better way to proceed but if Google keeps slapping me then there is no way i can keep this up.
  • You're not giving up. Your just changing your approach!

    good stuff!

  • Good Move!
  • There is nothing wrong with improving your sites. The new algorithm requires it for sure.

  • Best to diversify in this game, but not too much otherwise you will lose focus.

I have nearly had my entire earnings wiped out twice, that's because I put all my efforts into one business model. Best to have several business models/sites running at once and always make sure you can afford to lose one of them and still earn enough to stay afloat. This is a tricky balance to manage, but at least then you wont be going back to employment for The Man.
