Best Way to Go?

Hi all, just like to start of by saying I know a lot of people have been asking the same sorts of questions recently but any advise on my situation would be great. My site Xbox live arcader, The best place to find all the latest news and reviews on all Xbox live arcade games. (link can be found in sig) was recently hit by the Google update. I was getting around 1000 UV's a day until the update now I'm down to about 150 UV's , which sucks lol. The site is a PR 3 and I have just done a link exchange with another big gaming blog in my sector which should help. I haven't updated my blog at all since the update as I was ready to give up on it, but now having second thoughts, I might even consider selling, but what would a site like mine be worth.

Sorry for all the questions and look forwards to some of the things you guys have to say.

  • Game Blogs / Sites are a hard market to crack, unless you truly have the passion for it..

    You are competing against youngsters who have nothing but endless energy, aspirations, and time has no direct meaning.

    They are living the dream within the build.

    Looking at your site compared to other established gaming sites, I would surmise the price would not be what you would expect, or accept.

    If it was an active Forum, $ in the bank.
  • Don't give up buddy... Geared up and keep moving ok!!
  • Obviously with such amount of UV's you have a gold in your hand. And in my opinion you should move ahead. I believe posting more and more unique contents in your blog section would definitely help you. More content more good SERP. Believe me CONTENT is the only and only best way to be at top.
  • I might try adding a few blog posts over the weekend and see how the site does with them and see where to go from there.
  • Though it will lot of time to win back Google.
    But at the end it will be worth it!

    You should start working on it and the sooner the better.
