Backlinking for Low Competition Keywords Strategy?

What's a good (and safe) backlinking strategy for low competition keywords?

All I've got so far is to create 5 web 2.0 sites with 5 posts on each - can I use the same posts that are already on my website?

Comment on relevant blogs.

Submit each post to 15-20 social bookmarking sites though Onlywire.

What else can I do?
How many backlinks would you suggest I build a day, and for how many days?

Mate, if the keywords are low competition, 10 good Web 2.0 sites backed up with a 2nd and 3rd tier of links (all pointing to the Web2.0s and not your money site) could be enough to rank.

You can also create a few videos, make some PDFs for document sharing sites, publish articles in a few select directories and then back those up with lower level tiers as well. A Facebook and Pinterest page can also be used for the first tier.

Onlywire is always a good idea. Doesn't help much but I didn't see it hurt either.

Regarding the content, I would not suggest using the content on your site for your Web 2.0 sites.

How would you create 2nd and 3rd tier links? Would a fiverr gig be okay, considering that nothing will be pointed at my money site?

Yes, you can use Fiverr, automated software like MS, GSA, etc.

But if you can, try to make your 2nd tier a bit higher quality than tier 3. You can for instance write an original article and spin it manually for the 2nd tier and then submit it to 100s of article directories, etc. Or at least find Fiverr gigs that do something similar, without being too spammy.

For the 3rd tier and beyond, anything goes honestly.

Heck if it's a SUPER low competition, you might not even have to do any backlinking except social bookmarking to get it indexed right away.

What is the definition of a 2nd and 3rd tier link?

The 2nd and 3rd tiers are generally weaker (and more spammy) links that point to your tier 1 links mate.

Generally, people try to keep a cleaner profile in the 1st tier with Web2.0s, select article directories, high PR posts, videos, etc. and then create lower quality links like mass blog comments, auto-approved articles in 1000s of article directories, forum profiles, etc pointing out to those links.

So, the 1st tier links to the money page, while the 2nd tier links to the 1st, and the 3rd to the 2nd.

    For low competition:

A few good authority and relevant links will outperform any link strategies.

A good link pyramid structure is what i recommend.

If done correctly, it can secure you top position.

Well if you are talking about distributing same content on multiple places it wont be a better option. Syndicated content does not get much value from Google (rather i will say it does not get any value) So dont use same articles at multiple places However you can rewrite them

I would suggest some video sites in your tier 1 also with a link back in the description where you can.

I wouldn't use the same content from your tier 1 sites that is already on your main money site and remember to keep your back link profile diverse.

    Good luck.
