Hi I have done some initial keyword research using Google Adwords tool, but finding the most relevent "buying" keywords are pretty expensive. What is a second level tool I could use to start drilling further down to find cheaper, longer tail keywords, that will get similar targeted traffic? Thanks for your time...I will thank everyone who responds to this thread..

    Hi natebunger,

You can use the same tool, AdWords Keyword Tool, to drill down deeper by taking the first list of ideas, select only the most relevant keywords, add those to the list of words to base ideas on, to generate a larger list. You can repeat this process over and over to get a fairly large list from that one tool.

Then there are a few tools that will perform autocomplete scraping. Just search Google to find them, you will also find at least one in the WF WSO section.

Then after you have found all the keywords you can from those tools, you can use any of the many tools available that will build even more phrases using permutations. You should have no trouble expanding your lists to many thousands of keywords.

I routinely max out the keywords that will fit into a single AdWords campaign using those tools, so I'm sure that will get you what you need as well.

Google adwords is the best tool in keyword analysis. It shows all the factors related to number of competitions to the selected keyword. Keyword research must be done carefully since it is a important factor to be considered before optimizing the web site.

yeah you can still use the adwords tool and then run campaigns and track which ones have the conversions, these will be your buyer keywords too. Market Samurai is also a pretty awesome tool that is updated frequently and is very fast at bringing back data.
