Google SEO Site HIT A Road Block. Help

I have an Personal training website: Personal Power Training .net and I have a pr 4 and use to rank #1 for the keyword personal trainer, personal training arizona, personal trainer scottsdale, and all the local ones. Now with all the google updates I now I'm having a tough time beating the competition.
I have hit a road block because I have:
better pr
more backlinks
tons of article submissions
massive amounts of content all unique and original on the site.
signed up for most all the major local business listings.
and so on compared to my competition.
recently I have redesigned the website and we are still updating all the content.
The keyword i'm getting beat at is "personal trainer scottsdale". I'm hoping someone can shed some light on why this is going on and how I can fix/update/make changes to the site so I can once again beat all my competitors.
I appreciate the help. I don't get why this is happening. I use to do a ton of SEO and now I have kind of lost track and not stayed up to date with everything in the last 2 years. Hoping someone can shed some light on these things.
