Facebook SE ranking factors

What do you think will be the ranking factors of the upcoming Facebook search engine?

I have read that Facebook is already getting 1 billion searches per day which would make it the 2nd biggest search engine out there.

So, getting good ranks there would certainly drive a lot of traffic.

Guessing that likes will have a huge impact on rankings and what do you think?

    Honestly. I would be surprised if the facebook search ever really made it off the ground. Facebook is aimed at being facebook which it does an amazing job at. But becoming a search engine is stupid and I really do not think it will work.

    They would be smarter off starting an email service, youtube like system and selling ads that way. But thats just my 2 cents.

    You are right. After Google, Facebook is only site where people visit regularly. I believe Facebook would never bit Google but Facebook could be first option to get huge number of traffic in very near future.

    I wonder how many people write "vacation" in FB search box everyday. Seriously, I believe likes, shares, and comments are currently the only factors that Facebook can build their search engine upon, if they are building.

    Just having a search box does not mean Facebook is a search engine.Do you really know what search engine really is.??
    Then i guess every site which is having a search box is a search engine.

    Facebook does not send a single hit to my site so I will start taking them seriously once they send even 1% traffic my way. They are even worse than Google when it comes to forcing businesses to buy their way to establish any kind of presence on them. Google will trounce them with Google plus.
