Google Reconsideration Request Question?

  • It's up to you

The average length of a penalty from Google is six months so if you just want to wait it out and see if you can get everything back when you hit that mark

Or you could try and really clean everything up right now and file a request. It really just comes up to you and which one you think is a better idea.

If I were you I'd just clean it up and try again I wouldn't really bother with a request since you're almost at that six month point.

If it doesn't work THEN you can always try your luck with a reconsideration request

    • This is the best idea I think. Through this way, you will be safe from being de-indexed again.

I think you should submit the site map again and build manual links again. Some high quality link building is enough. Then wait for Google's re consideration.
    that's it.

OK bit of a different question here: 5 months ago, I mannually de-indexed a penalized site from Google. It was hit with the unnatural links penalty. Now I want to get it back in the index and am wondering if to do so, I need to file a reconsideration request for it or just point some link juice at it and wait for Google to follow the links?
