Hi warriors!

Today, one of my friend had a little trouble with adsense. On his website, there was an ad, "solve the maze" type of thing.Apparently, he forgot it was an adsense ad and he wanted to play the game.Next thing you know, he clicked the ad...Unlucky him, Google banned him after about 4-5 hours. Can he make a claim saying he was confused or similar statement?

Also he is new to whole blogging stuff and adsense was his first starting point.

If this is the real reason (which I bet is not), yes, but still will be lucky in case of unban.

And what if we say "No"? Won't he try to make a claim?

No one at google is ready to believe this story even if it actually is. I think the account is banned forever. Very unlikely that it will be re-opened again. Sorry for being so negative. But that how google is.

Try opening a new account on a different name/address.

You cannot expect google to re open this account. Google will never believe in your excuse. Your friend can forget about this account and try to get another approved account.

It is only a click, I am also suspecting click bombing...but what can someone get out of taking down a game wallpaper site...

I see, one question though.Doesn't google track down the I.P address or something?Won't his new account get banned as well, due to previous event?

    Banned
That can't possibly be the reason.

Imagine how many people misclick and click on one of their own ads.
It happens to me every once in a while too.

If anything, someone at Google just happened to notice his site at that time (if it was because of his click or not who knows) and noticed his site was in violation of their TOS.

the click might have brought the attention ( but i highly doubt it ) and gone for manual review and may be some violation of their TOS and BAAM you got Banned.
