Link Wheel Idea with PR Network

I own quite a few high PR domains, and I'm using them to send quality links to a few of my 'money' sites. However, I've got an idea which I think could work greatly, but am not 100% sure Google would fall for it.

Basically, what I am already doing is writing 300 word articles with a link to my money site on each of my high PR websites. By doing this, i can only get 1 quality link per high PR domain. What I plan on doing is creating lets say a quality Squidoo Lens, and then ALSO link to the Squidoo Lens on my high PR domain.

This basically means I'm getting 1 direct quality link, and one link from a Squidoo Lens which is already receiving quality link juice from my high PR domain, ultimately giving my money site more value.

Do you think this is a good idea? And would Google be able to notice the 'link wheel' type idea coming from the one high pr website?

    Honestly, It's not a good idea. Why? It's because you are leaving footprints to Google! I guess you already know that Google penalized PR networks because of this link wheel strategy. Anyway you can still used your PR networks, just make sure that you don't leave footprints on it. Like for example making a quality articles, make it related to your domain, don't interlink your blog networks, just make it a normal blog that updated daily and sometimes post without a link on it to make it natural!

    that depends...

    if google will see your linking strategy could be bad...

    I have my own 60 domain pn but they are built very different one from the other, are old domains , etc.

    If all of your websites are from the same ip it could be a problem...

    But , after all if i were in your place i shall give a try..cause in bad case you control the links.

    So you got no long term risk... my advice is to try that out...

    Cheers

    Go another step away from the High PR page before you start linking.

    High PR - link to web 2.0 (related article) -> link to web 2.0 (link to money site).

    Here's something I've been doing to get the most out my HIGH PR links. Examples uses: 2 High PR Sites:

    PR Site -> Web 2.0 no links to money site -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0

    2nd PR Site -> Web 2.0 no links to money site -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0 -> Web 2.0

    The first Web 2.0 contains on a link to the second one. The rest link to the next in line. You do 10 from each PR site and meet back in the middle.

    With Two PR 5 links you can spawn 20 PR 3 - PR 4 Web 2.0s.

      You are still creating one wail of a footprint and your juice is being divided up unless you are selective with your web 2.0s. Many services have their own links on your page which divides the juice each time. Further more with each hop to a new site PR degrades. Doing 6 stops the last two stops will definitely be quite weak.

      Nothing anyone is suggesting is feasibly. Want no pattern whatsoever OP? Do some three way link exchanges. It will look as clean as a whistle and make your link prfoile look solid

        This is a very simple Web 2.0 network for basic purposes. You're saying that Google will algorithmically catch a 'footprint' used on 20 Web 2.0s? I think they have bigger fish to fry.

        I also make sure all the Web 2.0s have good content that is added monthly and I backlink to each of them with the basics like bookmarks.

        20 PR 3 to PR 4 pages with a well-written article stuck to the top is pretty effective, and low cost. For clients with smaller budgets, it works great.

    Thanks for all the advice.

    PerformanceMan, I see the reason behind your idea. But I think using that many web 2.0's would just results in a very low quality final link to my money site. Dont you think?

    By the way, all my PR domains, are like 6 years old, on separate class C IP's, and are all very high quality. So would this make any different with my idea?
